Last month we had the opportunity to finally escape the city. We visited some friends in Torquay, the Victoria’s surfing and beach worship capital and the official start point of the Great Ocean Road. It was so nice to see the Ocean again, to walk along the cliffs and to play on a clean and wild beach. Saint Kilda

St Kilda is a southern east suburb of Melbourne with safe sandy beaches and fantastic views of the bay. For me it is a great starting point to visit the whole city. His trams lines are the 96, 16,12 and they will get you to the center of the city and the main train stations. From St Kilda you have an easy access to the CBD (Central Business District), the Botanical Gardens, the Melbourne Museum, the South Melbourne Market, numerous beaches, Southern Cross Station… yes, from there you can go anywhere!
