For over 20 years I have wandered the world. Along the way I had many adventures, learned about myself, met many people from many countries and what I love the most is hearing their stories. Throughout the year you will be able to read a series of interviews from the “Expat” of Melbourne who were generous enough to share their colourful story with me.
I know what you are gonna say: “You French are so snob with your food!” and I will answer: “Yeeees we aaaaare!”. I have to say that we are from a country with great diversity in a lot of things and food is one of them. We have good chocolate, good cheeses, beautiful vegetables and fruits (especially during summer time), nice butter, crème fraîche, bread and pastries… and even if food isn’t my everything I do miss the taste of home sometimes, especially on gloomy days.
I am sorry, it has been a while since I have written an article and I am sure you wonder if we are okay… To be truthful we had some new up and down, especially with the season change, our mind and body were screaming spring time!!! when in fact we were slowly welcoming winter. Also, the children have been pretty sad, missing a lot their country and we felt very guilty about it. But we sticked together, we went through the sadness and we started to accept and organise our new life.
