France at home

May 17, 2017

I know what you are gonna say: “You French are so snob with your food!” and I will answer: “Yeeees we aaaaare!”. I have to say that we are from a country with great diversity in a lot of things and food is one of them. We have good chocolate, good cheeses, beautiful vegetables and fruits (especially during summer time), nice butter, crème fraîche, bread and pastries… and even if food isn’t my everything I do miss the taste of home sometimes, especially on gloomy days.

That is why I was happy to discover France at home, a family owned business, established in 2016 that is importing and delivering all the favourite French products straight to your door. If you live in Australia and you are craving for Faugier chestnut cream (double yum), rillettes, cheese, Carambars (I know a mean recipe for a Carambar Tiramisu), Orangina, Fraises Tagada, Petit beurre Lu, Le Petit Marseillais bath products or even Ariel washing liquid, you may find your happiness there. Prices are good and delivery is free over 100$ in metropolitan areas and over 150$ in outer areas, except if you buy some cheeses, in which case you need to choose a refrigerated shipping which will add 13.90$ to your bill, but if you prefer and if you can, a free local pick up can be made at 27 Wyperfeld Avenue, Craigieburn Victoria 3064. If not, delivery is very fast which is nice and your mum may not have to run so often to the post office anymore to send you a 50€ Colissimo box full of goodies!

Now, you know what to do if your children tell you every morning that their hot chocolate was better in France! And if you have any questions you can call Sandra, she is very helpful and agreeable.
